Building a circular production system has been our priority since we first opened our doors. Using recyclable materials where possible in all phases of crafting, packing and remodelling processes.

In-house Manufacturing

Our designs are created, from inception to assembly, in-house at our Brisbane Studio by our team of Australian jewellers. We are passionate about supporting local makers and maintaining Australian manufacturing of our collections. Hereby investing in the artisans who craft our jewellery.

Diamond Sourcing

Natasha Schweitzer is dedicated to adhering to all relevant national and international laws, regulations, and upholding the highest standards of ethics, human rights and social responsibility.

We require our suppliers to comply with the "Kimberly Process Certification Scheme”, a commitment to remove conflict diamonds from the global supply chain. Our procurement of materials, such as precious metals and stones, strictly follows legitimate sources in compliance with the United Nations Resolutions and corresponding national laws.

Excess Materials

All precious metals are recycled within our studio. Our efficient cleaning and filtration systems enable the collection and reuse of scrap metal and lemel, establishing a circular system with minimal waste. Scrap gold is melted down and repurposed in all instances. To facilitate effective waste management, we have designated bins for various materials, including scrap metal, lemel, tools, emery paper, and cleaning residues. Our commitment to environmental responsibility extends to training all employees on waste management practices, ensuring a sustainable approach throughout our operations.

Remodelling

Our focus lies in producing collections that endure generations to come, upholding the standard for sustainable luxury. Our fine jewellery is crafted from precious raw materials that are completely recyclable.

In line with our dedication to sustainability, we offer a bespoke remodelling service on select pieces. This service provides an opportunity to reimagine and repurpose existing pieces, utilising precious metals and stones to create new designs with a renewed life.

Sustainable Packaging

Our packaging has been revised to align with our sustainability goals. Natasha Schweitzer orders are packaged in conscious materials or considered disposal methods. Our packaging boxes and retail bags are made up of 100% recyclable materials. 

Any plastic product used to store jewellery in our studio or stores is re-used time and time again in effort to minimise single-use plastic waste.
