When not in use, store your jewellery in a box such as the original packaging to avoid damage to the item. When storing your jewellery for long periods of time between wears, store each piece individually in small zip-lock bags sealed tightly, removing as much ‘still’ air as possible. This will help lessen any natural tarnishing, which can occur from sulphurs found in the air/environment (also known as oxidation).

Never wear your jewellery whilst swimming or bathing, washing up, cleaning or using chemicals, performing sports or heavy-duty activities. Always put your jewellery on last when getting ready to avoid contact with chemicals found in perfume, hair and beauty products etc. Keep all plated jewellery pieces dry at all times. 

For plated jewellery please note that due to the delicate nature of gold plating, and the frequency of wear, pieces will need re-plating every so often to maintain their original appearance.

Plating rubbing off or tarnishing is a natural part of wear and tear, and is not considered a manufacturing fault.

Different skin acidity levels and how the product is worn and stored will influence the life of plating in our products. For solid gold or silver pieces, an annual visit to Natasha Schweitzer or your nearest jeweller for a clean and polish is recommended.

We recommend having your jewellery professionally cleaned and serviced with us at least once per year to keep your pieces in excellent condition.

General cleaning and polishing is available complimentary in our boutiques for any Natasha Schweitzer piece.

We offer a re-plating, polishing and deep-cleaning service for a fee for any Natasha Schweitzer piece. Please email info@natashaschweitzer.com for more information and a quote for this service.

All Natasha Schweitzer items come with a six-month warranty from the purchase date, covering all manufacturing faults. Proof of purchase must be provided. Please note, if you take one of our pieces to another jeweller, this warranty will be voided.

Please note, manufacturing faults do not include: damage or wear and tear, oxidised or fading plating, broken or tangling chain, cracked or broken stones or pearls, or bending of rings or earrings.

Our talented studio team can repair almost all pieces back to their original state.

Please contact us via info@natashaschweitzer.com advising us (with photos) of what you need repaired with proof of purchase. We will advise you to send the piece/s back to us, where it will be passed onto our studio team for their assessment.

Once assessed, we will be able to provide you with a description of the repair, including a quote. Repairs can take approximately 7 to 10 business days. Please note, postage to and from the studio is to be paid by the customer.
