Q. Where did you get married?
We got married in Provence, in the South of France at Airelles Gordes, La Bastide.
Q. How would you describe the vision for your bridal look?
Simplistic and timeless. I’ve always embraced a minimal style, so I wanted my wedding look to feel like an elevated version of my everyday style - something that would still feel authentic to me, while being special for the occasion.
Q. Did the location influence your overall wedding aesthetic?
Provence is such a beautiful part of the world, but I don’t think it directly influenced our vision for the day—except maybe for the flowers (the most spectacular green hydrangeas are everywhere!). What mattered most to us was that our day truly reflected us as a couple - we wanted everything to feel authentic and personal, so it was important that the day looked and felt exactly like us.
Q. What inspired you to choose these pieces for your jewellery look?
My wedding dress had a high neckline, so I felt earrings would be the perfect addition. Since I wear our round diamond studs every day, I wanted to design something similar but more elevated—special for the occasion, yet versatile enough to wear often.
For my bracelets, I knew I had to include my classic 0.08ct Tennis bracelet, which I’ve had for years. I decided to layer it with one of our new bezel-set tennis bracelets, launching later this year—I loved how they complemented each other.
Q. What did the design process look like for your custom earrings? What inspired the design?
Natasha and I explored various design options, focusing on my favourite diamond cut - round diamonds. Eventually deciding on two round diamonds in a graduating drop design. They turned out to be my absolute dream earrings!
Q. How long before your wedding did you start the design process?
We started designing my earrings about six months before the wedding, and during that time, I began selecting the other pieces for my look.
Q. Did you change jewellery from Getting Ready, to the ceremony to the reception? How did each look evolve?
Yes, I had two looks—one while I was getting ready and another for the ceremony. When getting ready, I wore a simple white slip dress with my 0.08ct Tennis Necklace, 50pt Diamond Studs, and my engagement ring. For the ceremony, I switched to my custom double drop round diamond earrings, which were the highlight of my look, along with my 30pt Oval Diamond Half Band and tennis bracelets.
Q. What role did jewellery play in completing each of your bridal looks?
Jewellery played a huge role in my bridal look—it not only completed my overall vision, but it also holds incredible sentimental value to me. The process of selecting these pieces and knowing I’ll have them in my collection for the rest of my life makes them even more special. I’ve already worn my wedding jewellery so many times, and each time, it reminds me of our wedding day.
Q. Did your husband wear any jewellery on the day?
Yes, Simon wore cufflinks inspired by our Vivienne collection (which will also be launching soon!) along with his custom wedding band, of course.
Q. Did you incorporate any heirloom or sentimental jewellery pieces?
On the morning of my wedding, my parents gifted me a beautiful diamond and sapphire ring that my dad had originally bought for my mum on their wedding anniversary one year, which I wore on my pinky. I loved adding such a sentimental piece to my wedding look.
Q. Were you drawn to any particular metals, gemstones or settings?
Round diamonds…and 18K Yellow Gold. I also played with the idea of bezel setting my earrings, I love the vintage feel of a bezel setting.
Q. Did you select wedding bands together? What was important to you in that process?
Our choice of wedding bands was probably a bit unconventional, considering my line of work. I remember bringing a few options home for Simon to try over dinner. In the end, we fell in love with two designs, and decided to combine elements from both to create a custom band for him. For my band, I chose our 20pt Round Diamond Band. Since my engagement ring is a Round Diamond Solitaire, I wanted to keep in theme of round diamonds—I also love the setting on our diamond bands.
Q. What advice would you give to future brides selecting their wedding jewellery?
I would advise future brides to stay true to their personal style. It’s important to choose pieces that feel authentic to you, as your jewellery should enhance your overall look and reflect who you are. Think about how the pieces will make you feel not just on the day, but in the years to come, since jewellery is to be worn and loved, time and time again!
Also, don’t hesitate to incorporate pieces with sentimental value—whether it's family heirlooms or designing something unique. These personal touches will make your jewellery even more meaningful.
